Connecticut and four other states will sue the Environmental Protection Agency if it does not act soon to reduce pollution from ships, aircraft and off-road vehicles, California Attorney General Jerry Brown said Wednesday.
Environmental groups in nine states have petitioned the federal government to set and enforce pollution standards in the Mississippi River basin and the Gulf of Mexico.
