LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A year after her calamitous comeback performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, Britney Spears has garnered a third nomination for this year's show, but it remained unclear whether she would dare a repeat appearance.
Aug 16 - Japaiman Usain Bolt sprints to victory in the Beijing Olympics 100 metre race and sets a new world record.
Bolt ran the race in just 9.68 seconds.
